It is with a heavy heart that I share the tragic loss of my cousin, Kendrick, who recently passed away under heartbreaking circumstances while in jail in West Memphis, Arkansas. Kendrick was just 40 years old, and his death has left our family in deep sorrow and searching for answers.

Background:

Kendrick was a vibrant, loving individual who touched the lives of everyone around him. He leaves behind a young son and daughter. A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to hang out and talk with him, and those moments are now precious memories that I will cherish forever. Unfortunately, Kendrick’s life was cut short in a place where he should have been kept safe. He died by suicide in jail, and we are left with many unanswered questions about the circumstances that led to his death.

Purpose:

We are seeking your support to help cover the costs of legal fees and an independent investigation into Kendrick’s death. Our goal is to ensure that all proper protocols were followed and to seek justice if there were any violations of his rights or negligence by the jail authorities. Additionally, we hope to raise awareness about the conditions that inmates face and to advocate for better mental health support within the prison system.
