Hello, my name is Ahmad, currently living in Gaza. I was fifteen years old when I was diagnosed with Leukemia ,which impacted my journey in life that I just began. I did not give up when there was a fine line between me and death, especially when the doctor told my mother that the survival rate was 30%. Fast-forward to the time being, I still choose not to give up under the barbaric aggression in Gaza that’s been going on for more than five months. My family and I, making up 7 people in total, were displaced from our comfortable home to a way less secure place, and all we have now is a mere tent that obviously failed to protect us from the cold of winter and the heat of the sun. I was supposed to leave Gaza at the end of 2023 to undergo the necessary medical tests to ensure that I had recovered from the disease, but I could not leave as a consequence from the tough conditions we are suffering from, specifically on a financial level. Consequently , I can’t afford leaving my family in the flames of the war which is raging in my country. All I want is to survive with my soul and my family. Our home was destroyed in the north and there is no longer a place for us to live in except the tent. In addition, my source of livelihood disappeared with the smoke as a result of the complete destruction of Gaza. Help me get out of Gaza and save my life. Each of us needs 5,000 thousand dollars to travel outside Gaza. Help us leave
