Seeking Help to Purchase a Reliable Car
As one who is noted for being a doer and accomplishing goals, this may come as a surprise to you, but in my humility I have no other choice but to ask for your help in my time of need. I am praying that you hear my story and your heart is moved to help me at this time. For the past six years, I have been in the fight of my life. As someone living with diabetes, and from birth asthma, my health has been a constant challenge. Since 2019, I’ve endured three accidents, undergone multiple medical procedures, and have been under a doctor’s care due to injuries to my back, knees, elbow, and hand. I’ve fought hard to sustain myself through my small business, where I create handcrafted jewelry and natural, plant-based skincare and haircare products. My passion has been traveling to Christian women’s ministry events to share my work as a vendor, meeting amazing purpose-driven women from all walks of life. However, my physical strength took a hit suffering from a combination of health issues, and even simple tasks became a challenge. Activities like carrying bins, setting up my booth, and standing for hours—tasks I once managed with ease—became increasingly difficult. Following my doctor’s orders to stop working, my financial situation took a severe hit, turning each month into a relentless battle to make ends meet. I am waiting for an answer for disability benefits, and have been diligently seeking remote job opportunities; however, in the meantime my car—the only transportation I have for making a living through my business—was repossessed right before Christmas in December because I simply did not have the funds to keep up with the payments. What a horrible feeling to know that all the payments you've made on a vehicle is a complete loss! I also fought hard against an eviction notice I received in December, just two days after my vehicle was repossessed and I've been living in my home for over 15 years. In December, I was thankful to see my 60th birthday, but I was so overwhelmed with the thought of where will I go if I loose my place, and how will I get around to make a living? What will I use to transport my merchandise to do shows? How will I continue to pay my monthly bills? Thank God in Heaven, with the help of Yahweh, I raised enough money to beat the eviction with the help of kind-hearted people who donated to the first half of my GoFundMe campaign. Even though I continue to seek work-from-home opportunities, it has been so hard to find a job to pay my bills--omgggg and I have skills y'all! But in the midst of it all, I truly trust in God touching the hearts of people who read my story to help get me through this time of struggle until it is over! But unfortunately, I am not out of the woods until I secure income to continue to pay my bills and restore what was loss, my vehicle. And that's why I am asking for your help because we all know that living expense bills are recurring and resurface every month. So, I am still struggling, and financial hardships are no fun. Throughout my life, I’ve always tried to help others. In 2016, I launched The Love Project Campaign: Blessings Bags for the Poor, where I distributed bags filled with toiletries, food, warm clothing, and more to those experiencing homelessness. Seeing someone in need has always stirred my heart deeply. Recently, I saw a homeless man lying on the cold ground with only a thin blanket, and it ignited my desire to do more for others, regardless of what I was facing. Yet, because of my own hardships, it has been two years since I’ve been able to give back in this way. My family has shown their love and support, but in 2024, my daughter lost her job, was recently employed; and she is just getting back on her feet. Now, because of all of this, I am reaching out to my community for help—something I’ve never done before. I am a fighter, survivor, and a woman of faith. I love the Lord, and believe in the power of love and generosity. I've always given my best gift to causes I've supported when I was able to do it without ever knowing I'd go through this. But, in the midst of it all, your monetary gift would help me overcome this immediate crisis, allowing me to purchase a reliable car so I could transport my merchandise to sell at events and it would also help me to continue to pay my monthly bills until I manage to secure stable income. As a thank you, and as a token of my love and gratitude, I want to give a gift to everyone for their generosity and kind heart. To those who take action to help me during my time of need. If you can support me with your best gift, I will send you one of my jewelry designs. In 2023, I created The Resilience Collection, a line of Stainless Steel Jewelry and natural semi-precious stone styles that I design to inspire strength and perseverance. Some of the pieces are designed with my logo attached to it with Philippians 4:13 engraved on it to remind us that we can do all things though Jesus Christ who loves us and gives us the strength to do it. Each piece tells my story of overcoming challenges, and I would be honored to send you a piece from my collection as a token of my heartfelt gratitude. It will always remind you of your kind heart too! My prayer is that my message touches your heart, and that you will see my journey not as one of defeat, but as one of unwavering faith and resilience. Your kindness can make all the difference in helping me get back on my feet, to conquer the struggle, continuing to live my purpose of creating and giving back to others. Thank you for considering and hearing me and taking immediate action. Your generosity is not just helping me—it’s also inspiring hope in someone else who hears my testimony of humility, triumph, and is determined to overcome. With all my heart, thank you, and may Yahweh bless you for your heartfelt gift.
