It’s hard for me to ask for help, and I don’t want anyone to feel guilty if you’re not in a place to give. But I’m in a difficult situation right now and truly don’t know what else to do.

I’m experiencing complications from my vaginoplasty that now require revision surgery. I’ve done everything I can on my own, but it’s become clear I need medical intervention. I’m currently uninsured and in the process of applying for public coverage, but things have become urgent and I can’t wait months for care.

I also recently moved across the country for work, which used up my savings, and now I’m trying to raise funds for consults, travel, and any out-of-pocket medical costs that may come up in the process. As a trans woman, accessing affirming care is already full of barriers, and I’m doing everything I can to keep going.
