Seeking help for Tracey #Cancer Sucks

Donation protected
We are writing this letter to seek your support. Our sister Tracey Morris, (55y) is suffering from Multiple Myeloma, Stage 3 Cancer. Multiple Myeloma is a rare type of blood cancer that disproportionately impact African Americans, often referred to as a bone marrow cancer. Multiple Myeloma is not curable however it is treatable. This diagnosis has been a shock to Tracey and our family. In late July, Tracey was being treated for leg pain, only to discover after several tests and 2 biopsies that she has cancer that had spread to different organs in her body including her leg. She has been in the hospital for over 2 months receiving treatment. Tracey will not be able to work as an early childhood teacher’s asst (a job she loves) for at least a year or more. Tracey is a hardworking, mother of three and the needed treatment will help to save her life. She needs financial support to cover her medical treatment, housing and living expenses. We as a family are doing our best to support her but it is not enough. At this time Tracey has lost her housing and her employment because of her illness. Any support will be appreciated!
