Seeking help for my mom as we lost our father

Hi, my name is Harrison and I am writing this on behalf of my family, especially my mother who is now a widow. Our father, Troy Wright passed suddenly and unexpectedly at one of his job sites on Monday June 28th 2021 around the time of 11:30am. Troy was a father to us 6 sons and an amazing husband. He was our rock, our provider, and our leader.. My dad was the oldest of 10 kids. Upon graduating highschool he joined the Navy as a Nuclear Engineer. After a few years in, he came to Hawaii where he met my mom through a church friendm. They fell in love through hiking and spending time outdoors and soon were married in the year of 1992.. My dad did everything he could to make sure my mom was taken care of, she never worked as she was a stay at home mom till this day. My dad was able to open up his own business as a commercial electrical contractor years down the road. In time our parents were able to find their dream home where we still live and hope to stay in as long as we live.. I am raising money for my mom and my younger brothers to keep our home. It would break our hearts if we ever had to move out, my mom has no income so it will be hard to pay the home off and still be able to enjoy her life. The days don’t get easier, you just learn to accept he is gone.. Whatever is on you heart is beyond appreciated.. No amount of money could ever replace my dad but whatever we can do to secure and comfort her. Never take anyone for granted because time is more precious than anything. I love you all.

Dear Dad,

I still don’t believe you’re gone, dad.. when I got the news you were in the ER I thought you were okay, you were beyond the toughest man I ever have known. Not only were you tough physically but mentally, you never dishonored and would always say, “Never put yourself in a situation where you could be tempted do you something wrong.” The best father I could’ve asked for, you never let us down. You were always there when we asked for help, when anyone needed something you were there. It wasn’t about the money, it was only about being there to better everyone else.. You were such a selfless human. I wish you didn’t have to always work so hard, your dream was to fish, hunt, and be with your kids/future grandkids. No one will ever be able to replace you here physically but I know you are living a eternity with God now. You would never give up church for anything, you always showed us and told us to be right with the Lord. My heart is shattered as I write this, I’m really going to miss you dad. I promise you that I will see you again in heaven some day soon I won’t let you down, I won’t let God down✝️ Even though we didn’t say it all the time, we loved you more than words could ever describe. I’m so proud to have had you as my father. I wouldn’t have traded you for the world.

Love,

Harrison
