Seeking help for Meaghan Mcgarry
Donation protected
!!!!UPDATE!!!
Hello everyone,
I figured it was about time for an update from Meaghan herself. First off I'd like to thank those that were able to donate. It means the absolute world to me. I know times are tough right now. Most people are living paycheck to paycheck and don't have much left over to donate if they wanted to. So I have to give credit to those that LIKED and SHARED the post to help generate a little more buzz. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
NOW FOR THE UPDATE..
Just for clarification: I was walking to the crosswalk when I got hit by a speeding car!
As far as my injuries go, I broke 13 bones on my left side only. Road rash and scrapes all over my face and head. I came to Mercy Hospital Rehabilitation Center after almost 2 weeks in Baystate Hospital. I'll be here a few more weeks working on how to walk again. I still have no use of my left arm and that will be the main focus of outpatient therapy when I leave here. There objective first is to get me walking, so I will not require a wheelchair. I will be going to stay at my moms for the foreseeable future. Until I am stable enough to drive. Then we will take it from there. I'm lucky enough to work for a Company that said to take all the time I need, just get better! Unfortunately, staying with my mom changes many things. I will need special equipment to walk, show, and sleep. I'll need rides to appointments (between Plymouth and the Surgeon in Springfield), all while paying my Rent, Car Note, Insurance, Phone and all other things that come up. So if you are still able to help with donations, LIKES, and SHARES it will be greatly appreciated! Thanks Again! Love y'all!!!!
=====================================================================
If anyone knows me, knows I do not like to ask for any kind of help, but this is not for me, it's for my daughter Meaghan McGarry. In case many of you may not have heard yet. She was hit by a car on Tuesday, and sustained some pretty serious Injuries to her left side. Her arm and leg were both broken. In which her leg they had to insert a rod to support the bone. Her left arm will need more upcoming surgeries to function properly. She will have a long and intensive recovery. My daughter has worked hard to get where she is, she is a recovering addict. And at this point in her life, she has been clean and sober for many years. She is a known counselor in the Springfield/Chicopee area that helps other addicts on their path to recovery. We are seeking any help from friends, family and anyone gracious enough outside our family that would like to donate. This breaks my heart to have to ask and to see my daughter suffering. A big heartfelt THANK YOU for any help.
