Hi there my name is Clayton, my wifes name is Brooke, unfortunately we are seeking help as a last ditch effort to help her buy a new wheelchair and medical equipment for her spinal injury that is progressively creating more and more barriers for her, we have tried to apply for assistance and have had no luck as she was already approved for a chair at the age of 18 however her chair was wrongfully stolen whilst she was homeless at 20 years old and unfortunately was stuck for a long time being unable to get around and function at any capacity she currently is on odsp and her worker informed us that we should try and setup a go fund me, at the time I was hesitant however after some deep consideration we really thought this might be our only option since we have had no luck with loans from any banks and our credit isnt good enough as we are behind on rent payments struggling to pay for travel costs to toronto ontario for specialists and other treatments. We are seeking help and would appreciate anything as i want to surprise her by christmas this year with a chair from www.notawheelchair.com she can finally be more independent and feel less of the burden of having to always ask me to help her and will finally feel free to do anything she wamts without worrying if i will be there every day when she needs help. She is very self conscious about herself and i think this will defines get her feeling more confident again as she was with her old chair, she so loving, kind and sweet and I want nothing but to give her the world, if you can help us reach our goal anything past that would mean that our rent could be also paid and get ourselves back into good standing with our landlord and not fall behind on our car payments as currently ive been given a notice that im 62 days past due on my car financing and ive recieved an eviction notice so im really worried about what will happen. we heavily depend on our car to get us to her much needed therapies and meetings, we live far away and public transit doesn't even run where we live in rural ontario, anything helps and if you want to know more feel free to comment on this.
