Hi everyone - first of all thank you for taking the time to read this fundraiser. I am fortunate enough to have bought my first home in January of 2025. When I moved in, I knew there was a bit of a mold issue, but I was not properly informed of just how bad the situation was.

I've gotten multiple quotes on doing the work to get rid of the mold and to take remediation measures to ensure it does not return - every quote I've gotten has emphasized that the situation is on the more dire side, and I should take care of it sooner rather than later. Being a single homeowner, I simply don't have the funds to take care of this by myself quickly. I'm worried that the longer I let it linger, the more detrimental it will be not only for the health of my home, but also to my personal health. I've noticed I've been having a harder time breathing, coughing more frequently, etc., and I worry that if I put this off, I may start experiencing more severe symptoms.
