Hello, my name is Sabrina and I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of my family. My husband, Daniel, and I have been together for 17 years and have worked very hard to build the life that we have. We have three wonderful kids, ages 13, 11, and 8, that look to us for everything and we have done everything to provide for them. Ultimately, we have a very good, if not modest, life.

Suddenly that's changing. My husband recently fell ill with an as-yet unknown reactive airway disease. He is very ill, though he tries to hide it, and sometimes it feels like he's getting worse instead of better. The illness is preventing him from being able to breathe like normal, and this has led the doctors to restrict his ability to work. I've taken all the extra work I can to help offset the sudden vacuum in income, but even my ability to do that is limited by the need to take him to specialist doctors more than an hour away.

The medical bills are beginning to come in, and while our insurance is going to cover some of the cost, unfortunately it won't do much. We now find ourselves in a situation where paying basic living expenses is proving to be very difficult. We are doing everything that we can, but we are asking for help so that we don't lose everything that we've worked so hard to build.
