Seeking a safe future for my family

I am Bilal Khaled bin Saeed, a Palestinian man from Gaza, married and a father of two children, Abdul Rahman and Abdullah.

I used to work as a supervisor of modern poultry farms. I owned three model farms—two large ones worth $50,000 each and a smaller one worth $30,000—as well as a productive garden and a home valued at $30,000.

My project was not just a source of income, but a model that served the community, provided job opportunities, and contributed to local food security.

Then the war came and swept everything away from under me: the farms, the garden, and the house were destroyed. A lifetime of effort—over $160,000 worth of property and work—was lost in moments, and my life shifted from stability to a struggle for survival.

I survived death multiple times, emerging from under the rubble carrying the pain of loss and fear for the future.

I know some have misused aid programs through lies, but I am not one of them. I have proof and photos that document the extent of the destruction I endured, showing that I am a broken, harmed, fearful man, and sincere in my need.

All I ask for is a real opportunity to return to the field I excel in, to support my wife and children, and to regain my dignity and ability to be productive.

May God reward all those who extended a helping hand and shared in restoring hope to those deprived of life’s foundations.

كنت أعمل مشرفًا على مزارع دجاج حديثة، أملك ثلاث مزارع نموذجية (مزرعتان كبيرتان تبلغ قيمة كل واحدة منهما 50,000 دولار، ومزرعة صغيرة بقيمة 30,000 دولار)، ومنزلًا تبلغ قيمته 30,000 دولار. لم يكن مشروعي مجرد مصدر رزق، بل نموذجًا يخدم المجتمع، يوفر فرص عمل، ويسهم في الأمن الغذائي المحلي.

ثم جاءت الحرب فجرفت كل شيء من تحتي: دُمرت المزارع، والحديقة، والمنزل. ضاع عمري وجهدي وممتلكاتي التي تجاوزت قيمتها 160,000 دولار في لحظات، وتحولت حياتي من استقرار إلى صراع على البقاء.

نجوت من الموت مرات عديدة، خرجت من تحت الأنقاض وأنا أحمل وجع الخسارة وخوف المستقبل.

أعلم أن ثمة من أساء استخدام برامج المساعدة بالكذب، لكنني لست واحدًا منهم. لدي إثباتات وصورًا توثق حجم الدمار الذي لحق بي، وتُظهر أنني الرجل المكسور المتضرر، الخائف، والصادق في حاجته.

كل ما أطلبه فرصة حقيقية لأعود للعمل في المجال الذي أتقنه، لأعين زوجتي وأطفالي، وأستعيد كرامتي وقدرتي على الإنتاج.
