Hi everyone my names Parker Lou (they/them) and it is with a heavy heart that I am asking for financial assistance bc honestly, I'm without resources. Due to the recent legislation passed in Florida and losing my housing, I have been put in a very uncomfortable and dangerous situation. Having access to HRT is a medical necessity for me and is lifesaving. Not to mention a place to rest my head at night. I have been searching consistently for housing options out of state but given the timeframe and costs I'm put at an extreme disadvantage.

As many of you know, on April 15th, I hosted a private and free concert at my place of residence. I worked extended hours between two jobs to save up enough to independently fund this project. And it was a success for the community. 15 days later, on May 1st, I was given less than 30 days, and no prior warning, to remove myself from the lease by my current roommates bc of differences on what I’m “allowed” to do in the space. As of May 12th the state of Florida has taken away the right to gender-affirming care and is continuously targeting queer ppl and spaces. I am honestly at a loss for words at the incredible amount of energy this state (and some of its residents) have invested into silencing queer and trans ppl. Staying in this state is not an option for me as I need gender-affirming care, this is a medical necessity. I am asking for support in whatever way the community can so that I may quickly and safely relocate. My heart goes out to everyone tremendously, thank you so much for your support ❤️
