Greetings, I'm Erich, and my family will soon be less one member. As with many of us, I do not live in the immediate vicinity of my remaining parent and this last year and a half has been more than a bit challenging, uprooting my career and eating through my savings such that now going to see my Mother in what is looking to be her final days is a very challenging proposition.

It is still unknown what affliction is ushering her into the great beyound. For her age she was healthy and quite active until very recently. I am still trying to get details from her physicians and other local family, but it has been challenging. I do not know what has laid her low, but I want to be there for her in this difficult time.

The funds I am raising are to secure transportation to where she is living, keep me fed and roofed while there, assist with any incidentals related to her medical (or post medical care) and assure that I have a home to return to in the aftermath.

Other than monetary assistance, if anyone has contacts in the Little Rock (where she will likely be transfered to) or Batesville (where she currently is) area of Arkansas, especially those familiar with navigating the local medical (and post medical concerns) systems an introduction would be appreciated.
