Seeing Hector mobile again!

Donation protected
Hello friends.
For those of you in Medellin, you may have walked past Hector a 100 times. With an amazing amount of strength, Hector makes his way to a patch of concrete near the affluent neighborhood of Poblado. There he sits with a welcoming smile, hoping for enough change to live another day. Hector is 64 years old and has a rare disability that turned his feet backwards. He was raised as a single child by two very loving parents in a small Pueblo outside of medellin. They had no other children in order to give Hector the constant attention he needed. Both parents have now passed, and he is struggling. Hector lives in a boarding house where he pays $6000 pesos a day (about $2 USD). If he’s lucky to make more than that in a day, he will eat, yet you will not see him ever without a beaming smile.

Hector has one goal right now. He’d like to get a power scooter to become more mobile. This will enable him to sell lottery tickets and increase his quality of life.

The $$ we raise will cover he following items:

1. Mobility scooter $1000-1200
2. Food and Rent at the boarding house for one year. $1200
3. Special shoes $100
3. Small reserve for any medical issues that may arrive. $500
