On July 16,  my brother-in-law Scott Mueller underwent successful brain surgery to remove a benign tumor. We are incredibly thankful to God for His abiding presence during the surgery and all the ways He has shown up in the days and weeks since then. His provision was evident day in and day out as my sister has so eloquently described on CaringBridge.

Scott and Shelly (aka "Bell") are givers. They don't think twice about helping others in need.  They have allowed God to work through them time and time again to provide for others; now it is time to let God work through us, as He continues to provide for the Muellers during this journey.

Scott's recovery time has been longer than anticipated, meaning he has not been able to return to work. He is working hard at the physical therapy that doctors say will enable him to return to complete health and strength.  In the meantime, there is no source of income replacing what Scott would normally bring home; his paid time off and sick days have long been used up.
