I am raising support for a community Montessori initiative in a low-income rural area of The Gambia because I believe every child deserves the chance to learn, play, and thrive. Growing up with access to early education changes the course of a life. Right now, children in this community face barriers that keep them from safe classrooms, quality learning materials, and nurturing teachers who understand their needs.

Working with ChildFund, an organization with nearly 90 years of experience helping kids grow up healthy, educated, and safe, we can create a respectful, child-centered Montessori environment that honors each child’s curiosity. Funds will help build learning spaces, provide age-appropriate materials, train local educators in Montessori methods, and ensure children receive the nutritional and emotional support they need to focus and flourish.

This is about more than toys or textbooks. It is about giving children the tools to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
