The South Congress Island Park is a historic pocket park in the heart of Austin. This park include an 8000 sf median along Live Oak at SoCo behind the iconic “Your Essential Magnificence” sculpture. We want to transform this strip of invasive grasses into a native wildflower meadow to rejuvenate the landscape, support pollinators and reduce mowing. We are working with the city to make this dream a reality, but need to raise funds for locally sourced seeds and supplies. Help us accomplish our goal by seeding our funds!
