Hi Friends and family, Mollie here! For those of you who know me, I have had a life-long dream of opening a small taproom in Gold Country and I have been given a fighting chance! I have submitted a business proposal to open River Dog 4 taproom in Grass Valley, California. Guess what... they loved my proposal and want to move forward! It's all moving fast and I am looking for anyone who would like to help my dream come true to give with love and joy! Here is some information about my taproom:

Company Description: River Dog 4 is an intentionally small taproom, geared toward Nevada County residents and visitors to our beautiful community. The taproom will offer beers from all of the local breweries (Three Forks, Grass Valley Brewery, Bullmastiff Brewery, 1849 Brewery, Moonraker, and a rotating tap from Temescal Brewery in Oakland. Locals can enjoy their favorite beer from Nevada County and visitors will be able to try beers from each brewery in the area at one stop.

Mission Statement River Dog 4 is on a mission to serve local beer enthusiasts a wide variety of delicious local brews from the surrounding area. Our internally small taproom is a relaxed place where all are welcome! Our company will support local breweries, farms, and non-profit organizations. We offer beer with a cause! Drink Beer + Give Back.

Customers The target customer for RD4 will be local residents of Nevada County, as well as visitors to our vibrant area. RD4 in a community oriented environment, where all are welcome, including families and travelers looking for a slice of our local community. We want our taproom to serve our locals in a special way by hosting board game nights, senior night, supporting local acoustic musicians, and hosting a regular “Locals Night”, where all Nevada County residents get discounted beers and snacks. In addition to this, RD4 will offer a 3% donation, on a rotating monthly basis, to Justice Minded non profits and first responders, local tribes, local sports teams, animal sanctuaries, veterans, and other charitable organizations all within Nevada County.

Future of the Company RD4s motto is small and mighty: to keep it small and keep it local by design. We want RD4 to be an intentionally small business that continues to support our local community. The only expansion we aim for is being able to provide more support to local nonprofits and charitable organizations. Basically, we want to help more!

How River Dog 4 got its name My husband and I bought our Subaru Crosstrek to take trips up to Nevada County each summer to enjoy the Yuba River, with our two poodles. After a day on the beautiful river we would always hit up one of the local breweries in town. Swimming in the Yuba River, followed by enjoying great local breweries with friends and family (including our dogs) was always the highlight of our summers! We lovingly named our Subaru River Dog 4 (me, my husband and our two poodles). This name reminds us of the great summers spent up in Nevada County.

For large donations- there is an option to get back a share of the profits once we are rolling!

For any donation- come and have beers on me at RD4 Taproom!

Help make this beer, dog, and justice-minded girl make her dream come true!
