In Loving Memory... Cassie Estoista Santos
Donation protected
As many are aware, my ride or die BFF who I love and considered a sister for the past 46 years, Cassie Estoista Santos was admitted to the hospital on Friday, February 5, 2021 with COVID-19. On Saturday, February 13, 2021 she left her life here on earth with us to join the Lord, her Grandpa Leo and the rest of her family and friends already in paradise. She leaves behind her husband Rey Jr., bonus daughter Julia, mother Joanne, fathers Larry and Reggie, bonus father Dean, bonus mother Tessie, siblings Gino, Serina, Venessa, Veronica, Melanie, Rennie, Lorna and Larry, bonus siblings Danica and Dean III, many nephews and nieces along with many extended family members.
Unfortunately, what happened was unexpected and something we would have never imagined. Because of the circumstances and how easily the funeral expenses can quickly add up, I have created this GoFundMe account to help the family with any funeral/memorial expenses and unforeseen medical expenses. I know many of you loved Cassie also and have asked how you can contribute. I figured this would be the easiest way.
Cas preferred not to share some aspects of her life on social media and I will honor that. Out of respect for Rey and the family, I will not disclose details of the past week. COVID-19 is real so please be careful, practice social distancing and always wear a mask. Limit where you go and who you expose yourselves to. If you feel any symptoms, contact your doctor immediately. Seek medical assistance whether you have underlying medical circumstances or not, period!!!
Cassie touched so many lives and a lot of people loved her. The support given to the family was incredible, comforting and sincerely appreciated. Thank you Cas for being that one true friend I needed in this so called life. You are irreplacable and my heart hurts because I never thought you would leave us sooner than later. But as the tears come down I can't help but smile because you're an Angel now. I will physically miss you but I look forward to your visits. I’m ending with this, it’s ok to feel sad and cry but just remember that Cassie won’t be gone forever because when it’s your time to cross over, don’t be surprised if she’s one of the first one’s on the other side waiting to greet you. Cherish the memories you have of her and never forget! When you think of her just remember her smile or hear her laugh........ I love you Cas and I’ll see you later!
