Hello! My name is Javaris Praylow and I'm a single father of two boys and a daughter ages 12, 11 and 10. I recently lost my job a few days prior to finding out my youngest son, Javaris Praylow Jr. has Neuroblastoma Stage M. The reason given for my termination, is that I left without notifying my superiors, which isn't true. However, that day, I received a phone call from my son's school stating that I needed to pick him up because he's crying and saying his neck and leg hurts. I then took my son to the emergency room and from there, he was admitted. Within days, I lost my way of providing for my two sons and received the most devasting and heartbreaking news ever. Mentally, it's a battle every day. I'm trying to continue to be the best dad and be strong for both of my sons and myself. I'm trying to make sure that my oldest son, understands that I'm not neglecting him or love him any less by not being as active/present with him. Right now, I don't think my son fully understands what we're facing but physically, he knows he's not the same. Being that my son is Stage M, treatment is very aggressive, and he's already started losing his hair. I'm asking for monetary donations due to life's unexpectedness. My son is scheduled to go to Charleston, October 20, 2025 for a bone marrow transplant. I've been told it's possible he'll be in Charleston for a month. Which means, I'll have to leave my oldest son to be looked after by a family member. I won't be able to stay in the hospital with my son and won't be provided food. Therefore, I'll need funds to continue to be present for my sick son while there and once we're back home. If you're able to contribute monetarily, please do so. If not, please send positive thoughts and prayers.
Thank you!
