My daughter’s boyfriend (Garret) and his roommate’s (Jay) apartment was apart of the fire in Midland on 7/29/2025, same building as Hong Kong Chinese restaurant. The whole building was declared a complete loss for everyone involved. They got out with nothing but the clothes in their backs and their pet cat. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Jay just moved here not too long ago and Garret just moved in this past April. Garret not only lost all of his belongings but his little son’s things too.
