Friends und Fremde,

ich bin Sedo und trans nicht binär.

Seit langer Zeit sehne ich mich nach einer Mastektomie. Jetzt will ich den gewollten und benötigten Schritt gehen, weil ich in meinem Alltag — jeden Tag — unter physischen und psychischen Schmerzen leide (durch Dysphorie und das Abbinden der Brust).

Als nicht binäre Person in Deutschland falle ich leider durchs Raster der aktuellen Regelungen — weshalb für mich die finanzielle Last der OP komplett selbst zu tragen ist.

Über die Zeit konnte ich mir selbst, und mithilfe von Freunden, einen Teil ansparen.

Aber als selbstständige Person in der Musikbranche kann ich die hohen Kosten leider nicht stemmen.

Daher habe ich mir ein Herz gefasst und mich nun doch für das GoFundMe entschieden. 

Jede Spende, ob klein oder groß, bedeutet mir sehr viel, und bringt mich näher an ein Leben in Freiheit.

My name is Sedo – I’m trans non-binary.

For a long time, I’ve longed for a mastectomy. Now, I want to take this necessary and deeply wanted step towards being myself. In my daily life I struggle — every single day — from both physical and psychological pain (caused by gender dysphoria and chest binding).

As a non-binary person in Germany, I fall through the cracks of the current regulations — meaning I have to cover the surgery costs myself.

Over time, I was able to save part of it on my own and with the help of friends.

But, unfortunately, as a self-employed person in the music industry, I simply can’t afford the full amount.

So I’ve gathered my courage and decided to start this GoFundMe.

Every donation, whether small or large, means the world to me and brings me closer to living freely.
