Neonatal strokes occur in approximately 1 in 4000 births, Sedona Blake was that 1 in 4000. Sedona was born on August 3, 2019 at 9:42 am to parents Katie and Frank. Less than 24 hours later, Sedona started having seizures and was airevacced to PHX children’s hospital where she is now in the NICU being treated. Due to the intensity of Sedona’s treatment and care needed, Katie and Frank are 75 miles from home, not able to work, and no way of knowing how long she will be in the NICU. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. Knowing that their bills can get paid will be one less thing for them to worry about.
