Secure Housing For Black Lesbian Couple

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Asia & Ponie. My friends are currently living with someone that’s proven to be unsafe. Their financial situation has also been greatly affected to due to the pandemic. They’re hoping to raise money to move out of this unsafe living environment and into their own space. The amount they’re asking for is $2,000 - which covers their moving fees, security deposit, and first month’s rent. A note from Ponie: “I admit that normally I don’t ask for help. I am passive about my struggles and out of fear I choose to tolerate my situations in times I need the most help. I’ve finally decided that I need to ask for help. I have been in an unsafe living situation, to say the least, for 2 years now. I would prefer not to go into detail for my sake, but it’s been bad. Due to the pandemic I have been out of work since mid-March and we have been living off nothing but my girlfriend’s spare cash and what little left I have from my stimulus.
