Secure Windows for Susana and Ale's Home

Hi, my name is Talia, and I am the Puerto Rico Program Director for Global Works.

Through our program, we partner with local community members to build homes, ensuring that families have safe, comfortable places to live. Our Global Works students work alongside these families until the basic structure of the home is complete. After that, it's up to the families to finish the home — a process that can be slow and costly, especially in low-income areas where materials like windows, doors, and paint are difficult to afford.

This fundraiser is to help Susana and Ale’s family complete their home. Last year, with the hard work of Global Works student groups and community members, we built a strong foundation and structure to shelter this family of five — providing them protection from the frequent storms on the island.

Now, Angel, William and I are raising funds specifically to help purchase sturdy, high-quality windows, which are essential for their safety and comfort. Every donation brings them one step closer to completing their home and securing a better future.

The fundraising goal covers the price of 10 windows (varying in size), the installation fee & taxes.

Depending on the window size the unit price is anywhere from $113 - $174. The installation fee is $700.
