Secure Venesa's Home Amid Health Struggles

Hello,

I'm Venesa Gomez and I'm looking to raise money for my family and myself to be able to stay in our home and pay for some bills and other things to keep us going.

I have been facing an uphill battle with health issues, and it has deeply affected me work-wise and financially. I have been dealing with gastro problems since October of last year, and we still have not been able to determine the exact issue. The doctor has done testing, and one of the last things they have been trying to get done is a CT scan of my small intestine, but I have to pay out of pocket for that, and I do not have the funds to, so that is keeping me from possibly finding out if I have Crohn's disease. I have been on a low residue diet, which means I'm extremely limited on what I can eat. Plus, it's not a very nutritious diet, so I have to be careful of the foods I eat. This issue caused me to lose 20 pounds in the span of 3 months. I haven't lost any more since. I have become extremely weak, not to mention I am dealing with the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis as well. I have missed a lot of work because of having episodes or feeling generally unwell. I have to work fewer days so that I can recover in between days of work because I tire out so easily now. I'm a provider; I'm supposed to be strong enough to help and take care of the people that I care for. I'm looking into other possible work avenues where I can stay home and not have to drive around as much.

All of this has taken a toll on me mentally. Last month, we were nearly evicted from our home. We were very blessed to be able to stay, but we no longer have the ability to get rental assistance because if we are late again, my apartments will file for eviction, and they might actually kick us out. We do not have anywhere else to go.

If you donate to us, the funds will go to our rent, which we are in dire need of, also to my car payment, because I have fallen behind on all of my bills. I would also like to use the funds to put toward my CT scan to get me a step closer to finding out if I do indeed have Crohn's disease. If we can find that out, several of my doctors can work together to treat several of my conditions with one regimen. You will keep my son, my mom, my pets, and myself in our home if you donate.
