Secure Stable Housing For Mother and Daughter

URGENT SOLIDARITY REQUEST

Hey Comrades

I'm Lessie a community volunteer. Well, about 3 weeks ago my daughter and I checked out a room for rent that we thought at first visit was safe and stable place to live on a more permanent basis. The first 2 weeks went fine without any problems or issues. After my daughter had a playdate come over to visit things began to take a turn for the worse. The landlord began threatening, verbally and mentally abusing me on a daily basis. Then in the final week things escalated to the point the landlord started targeting my daughter. Our safety became in jeopardy and l was forced to flee my home with my child due to a violent situation. While we're are now safe, the road to stability is steep because in the mist of this our foodstamps was also ended. Right now we need a minimum of $2,000 to cover immediate needs (food, safety, housing, essentials for this month). But to secure stable housing, $3,000+ would be the ultimate goa!
