Hello, my name is Elizabeth Pizarro and I am the full-time caregiver for my beloved brother, Waldemar Pizarro, who is battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). This devastating disease has left him fully bedridden, unable to speak or move. He depends 24/7 on:
• A ventilator to breathe
• A PEG feeding machine
• An electric adjustable hospital bed
• A medical air mattress to prevent pressure sores
We live in Puerto Rico, where frequent power outages severely affect his already fragile condition. Every blackout worsens his suffering, as all of his essential medical equipment depends on electricity.
And now, with hurricane season approaching, the situation becomes even more critical. Extended power loss would mean increased discomfort, emotional distress, and further loss of quality of lifestyle
Unfortunately, we do not have the financial resources to purchase a reliable solar battery backup system to keep him safe.
I am reaching out with hope in my heart, asking for your help to raise funds for:
• A solar-powered battery system
• Professional installation
• All necessary electrical components
Any contribution — big or small — will help us provide him with the stability, comfort, and dignity he deserves. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with your family, friends, or community.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, or supporting. May God bless your generosity. ❤️
