Secure perimeter fence

Mission:Wolf is a solar powered nature and education center that provides sanctuary to unwanted captive born wolves and horses. Over 30 years ago we placed 36 acres of land in the wolves' name to provide them a life long sanctuary. We established the Mission:Wolf wildlife preserve to provide a buffer from humans and conserve natural habitat for our many wild neighbors. Today, we have secured over 350 acres that is adjacent to protected State and National Forest lands. In cooperation with our neighbors, we are ready to expand the preserve to cover more than 1000 acres and have the opportunity to provide a sustainable grazing program and eliminate damage from uncontrolled grazing. We are located in the foothills of southern colorado in an open-range ranching community. It is the responsibility of the landowner to build fence to keep the grazers off our property.

We have begun to build a perimeter fence around the entire nature preserve! We have sourced materials and have built about a mile of fence this summer so far. We will need to fence 3 miles in total over some rough and rocky terrain. Our plan is to do this in stages about one mile at a time. Each mile costing approximately $25,000! We need your help to see this goal accomplished!
