Secure Kahari's Future with Tyler

My name is Tyler. I am currently asking for donations towards my legal fees in regards to gaining joint custody for my son, Kahari, who I have taken care of since birth.

The mother has withheld my son from me the first time for 90 days. I had to take her to court and received a temporary order, which she does not always adhere to. I retained an attorney and have now spent over $5,000 and now have a balance of $4,500 that I still owe.

My last court date in July of this year lasted almost 3 hours due to the mother using the judge's time to express that she was not aware that I would go for joint custody and talking about her other kids, which I am not the father of. My son has never needed clothes, food, diapers, or anything because it has been given, and I have been the primary person when he has been continuously sick with ear infections and respiratory infections gone untreated in the mother’s care.

For almost 2 years, every weekend I have had him, I ended up in urgent care to address these issues. The mother never did follow-up visits and was always provided the medication and advised to do a follow-up. I have driven over an hour to get my son, even though the court order states that she is supposed to meet me halfway, and I have returned him again, driving an hour almost every Friday, returning him on a Sunday.

Now we are at the final stage of this, awaiting the judge's final visitation decision, and again I have not seen my son for the past weekend due to her refusal, again going against the temporary visitation. I now owe, after already spending $5,000, another $4,500. I am asking just for help toward my court fees.
