Hai friends, I am reaching out to y’all for help! I know I have been in bad situations before but I would appreciate it if you could donate, as this is an emergency situation. My former best friend has decided that he is going to move out and leave me and Bree in financial peril and with housing insecurity. He did this only days after promising he would not be changing the rental agreement. I genuinely just found out he’s moving out yesterday when I heard him packing his belongings. As much as I am thankful that Bree and my abuser got me out of a bad housing situation my abuser has made this situation unsafe. He has a nasty temper and anger problems, often yelling fuck you or kill yourself and being aggressive toward the pets in the house and hitting walls/furniture. He had continuously been snapping at me for asking him to repeat himself. Things got physical last night when I asked him to clarify if he was moving out and he slammed his bedroom door on my forehead. Any attempts to diffuse the situation or speak to him were useless as he refused to communicate with me or Bree. And now we have less than a month to find a replacement roommate and come up with the full rent on our own. We are struggling financially as Bree, my hardworking best friend who often stays at the office for 10 hour days, has been on furlough. I have also been dealing with the health consequences of trying to treat my endometriosis and migraines while under stress. We need to be able to come up with 2,600 by the end of the month to keep our home and also find a new roommate. I am beyond thankful to anyone that shares this or donates as me and Bree don’t have any other safe home to return to.
