Hi my name is Travis, and I'm fundraising for a close friend whose housing situation has turned dire. My friend is a 33-year-old woman who was supposed to be moving out of a bad living situation. She has been struggling with poverty and lost her job due to Covid-19. Her landlords have been neglectful and tried to evict her for late rent payments--which she has since paid. Still, she has not had a working fridge for months and her apartment has fallen badly into disrepair.

She was finally able to secure alternate housing, but the arrangement fell through after she gave her notice to her current landlords. She now must leave her current place by June 30th and she has nowhere to go and only enough money for one-month's rent.

Donations from this fund will be used to secure last month's rent at a new place, and possibly cover some moving expenses.

Additionally, if you know of a place renting starting July 1st, please contact me so I can get her in touch. She needs a place badly somewhere in Windsor that's cat-friendly and under $1000/month.
