Hello, my name is Derek, and I’m the creator behind “A Fragrant State of Mind,” a passion project that has brought together fragrance enthusiasts from all over. Unfortunately, I’m reaching out today under difficult circumstances.

I live with multiple sclerosis and hidradenitis suppurativa, both of which bring daily challenges and ongoing medical needs. On top of these health struggles, I’m also going through a divorce, which has compounded my financial and emotional stress. As a result, I’m facing the imminent loss of my home and an increasing amount of medical debt, leading to housing instability and uncertainty about the future.

I’m reaching out for support to help me secure stable housing and continue my work in the fragrance community.
