my name is audrey, i'm a trans girl and i have been without a steady place to live for over a year.

i was let go from my job and have spent two months trying to get hired again, but so far i have gotten very few calls back at all, and no job offers, but i'm persisting.

i've couch crashed with different people when possible and am currently staying with my gf's relatives but the situation is getting increasingly hostile to us. i don't know how much longer we can stay. it's a day-by-day thing and conditions keep deteriorating.

we are doing everything we can but we are so tired & scared.

the situation is dire and i'm sick of being misgendered and threatened everywhere i go. my last job was unkind to me on account of being trans and now my gf and i don't even have a safe place to sleep.

it is clear we need a safe and more secure place to go, and quickly, but it has been extremely difficult to raise the funds. i'm very afraid of being completely homeless again. we're asking for funds to aid us in renting a place while we continue to pursue work and steady income. every bit of help is greatly appreciated <3
