On April 1st, Alex, his girlfriend Haley, and their two children made the hopeful move to Oregon, seeking better job opportunities and to be closer to me, Haley’s mom. Tragically, on April 2nd, everything changed. Alex was involved in a severe longboarding accident that left him with a broken forehead, right orbital bone, right shoulder, and a traumatic brain injury accompanied by multiple brain bleeds and bruises. Since then, he has undergone two surgeries and now requires 24-hour care for at least the first six weeks of recovery.
Before the accident, the family was carefully planning a slow and steady transition into their new life. Now, they urgently need a safe, stable home where Alex can recover while Haley devotes her time to his round-the-clock care. With two young children to support as well, Haley is struggling to balance his recovery with the needs of the family.
Your generous support can help provide them with a secure place to live during this incredibly challenging time, allowing Alex the best chance to heal and Haley to focus on caring for him and their kids. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant difference in helping them rebuild their lives after this devastating accident.
