Secure a New Beginning for Brandi and Her Children

My name is Brandi and my four children and I are survivors of extreme domestic abuse. We have endured narcissistic, psychological, emotional, physical, and financial abuse; myself for over twenty years, and my children for their entire lives.

I have been a stay-at-home-mother to my four babies. My ex-husband was the sole financial provider for our family. After his arrest and removal from our home in January, we have secured a restraining order for our safety, but he has completely cut us off financially. I am receiving some state aid and will eventually work, however, the kids and I are in the depths of healing and intense therapy to recover. With my ex-husband being granted communication through a recorded parenting app, he continues to abuse us psychologically and emotionally causing great distress. These kids need this mama bear to rise, but I fear being away from them for too long as they are fragile and need constant love and support.

Unfortunately, my ex-husband has hidden all our assets in other’s names, works under the table, and believes if he suffocates me long enough with no money, I will be forced to return the children to his abusive care. The court is attempting to sort it all out, but in the meantime we need to MOVE OUT of the home we are in and find a comfortable home to rent that has basic amenities. I need to secure a few months rent so I can have a little time to get my feet on the ground.

This is going to take a village. I will never forget those who carried us through this extremely difficult time and will forever be grateful for our blessings.
