Secure a Forever Home for Cameron Park Montessori

Hello, community! My name is Kimberly Beeman and I am the owner and director at Cameron Park Montessori. Our school was established in 1974 and we have been a proud part of the community for 50 years! If you are familiar with us, you know that we provide quality care and education for many families in El Dorado County!

In 2017, my husband and I purchased the school after I worked there as a teacher for over 6 years. We assumed the lease and all was well until new owners took over the building in 2021. Over the last 4 years, the landlords have been increasingly absent, spending time overseas and leaving our requests unresolved for weeks at a time, yet the cost of rent continues to rise. The landlords are making it very apparent that they are prioritizing their financial gain, while doing the bare minimum to value and care for their tenants. Our rent is now set to increase by $500 per month at the end of the year.

We now have an opportunity to purchase a building, but we need a little help to make it a reality!

We are seeking donations to gather the last amount that we need to purchase a building to ensure a permanent home for our school and establish a longevity plan for the program. We need $10,000 more to make the deposit and qualify for our loan!

Purchasing a building will lower our monthly costs and allow for the future staff and students of Cameron Park Montessori to have a permanent home! We look forward to easing the stress of high overhead costs, and investing more into our incredible staff!

When we first purchased the school, we were graciously supported by the previous owners, and we aim to create a valuable long-term investment for the future of the school!

We are thrilled for this opportunity and we sincerely hope that with the support of the community, including past and present families, we will be able to make this dream a reality!

Any additional donations over the $10,000 amount will be applied to costs of moving and renovations.
