Secure a Bright Future for Ricky's Children

On the evening of January 13, 2025, the course of our families lives was changed, forever. While driving into work on his normal route my brother, Ricky, was suddenly taken from us, much to the disbelief and devastation of the family he leaves behind.

Now, in addition to the immense grief and heartbreak that we feel from losing a son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend etc., we are faced with the impossible task of supporting those closest to him - namely his wife Brittany, and their two young children, Ryann (5) and Mason (3) - as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy.

As many of you may already know, Ricky and Brittany have been together since they were teenagers - high school sweethearts who grew up with each others’ families, and quite literally were near inseparable for over 20 beautiful years. Now, Ricky’s spirit will live on through his children; Ryann, the curious and inquisitive 5-year-old, and Mason, the sweet and cautious 3-year-old who idolizes his big sister. The hardest and most heart-wrenching fact of the situation is that Ricky will not be here for major milestones ahead in the lives of both his children. Knowing Ricky, I know he would have done anything in his power to not miss their kindergarten graduations, dance recitals, sporting events, birthdays, teenage years, driving lessons, first cars, high school graduations, and so much more.

Although the family was hesitant to ask for help, many people have reached out to ask how they can best support us - and so the primary purpose of this fundraiser is to help provide stability for Ryann and Mason’s future in the absence of their father.
