Secretly Helping Abby Get Some Photography Gear
Donation protected
Per the request of sweet friends, I have set up this page to surprise my sister and support her dream of pursuing photography.

Backstory:
Last year she made the decision to drop out of college to do photography full time. In so doing, she was cut off financially and has taken on the cost of her bills and expenses. Her busiest season is during prom and graduation, so in the "off seasons" she is constantly searching for shoots that will pay her enough to make ends meet.
The issue, is that she has little to no photography gear.
She currently shoots with 1.) an old camera I used to use and 2.) a camera she bought from a friend (and the friend bought it used LOL).
Since she doesn't have a good laptop OR subscriptions to editing software, what you see in her photos are effects she made herself, in real life. Every color tint, every shadow, every prop... she did. It is magic.
Most important of all:
Abby is the kindest, most accepting soul, and always selects models that identify as LGBTQ+, or are people of color, or that deal with depression or have financial hardships themselves, simply to make them feel seen and beautiful.
I would love to surprise her with any level of financial support to keep making the world a better place through her art.
EXAMPLES OF HER WORK:
Again, all "effects" are done herself...
Before:
After... (see her profile for full sized images @cxgle)

Another example: using rope lights inside a car
Final product (some of many!)

Using an old projector...

She captures raw, artistic images that depict mental health, diversity, and the human experience SO WELL... and she does it with nothing but a crummy old camera and pure creativity.

If you've made it this far, thank you for taking the time to learn more about my amazing little sister. I cannot even fathom what she will do when gets a better camera and/or adds on actual equipment to her photography "tool belt."
All the love <3
PS please don't let my sister know. :)
