Secret sister sewing machine fund!!

Hi, my name is Tarese, and I’m putting together this fundraiser on behalf of my little sister — a secret mission for now, so please don’t spill the beans just yet
My sister has completely fallen in love with sewing and creating. She’s been pouring her heart into it on a very basic, entry-level sewing machine… which unfortunately started failing last week after being pushed to its limits.
The exciting part?
She has just been accepted into a fashion design course starting this February.
I would absolutely love to surprise her with a reliable sewing machine so she can start her studies properly equipped. If we’re lucky enough to raise more, I’d also love to add a basic overlocker and the essential sewing supplies she’ll need for her course.
Because of the short timeframe and my own limited finances, I’m reaching out to see if anyone would like to help with this secret-squirrel sister mission.
Her story isn’t mine to share — but she truly deserves this opportunity, both to study and to continue creating at home. She has a unique creative voice, and I genuinely believe she has something special to offer the creative world. I may be a little biased, but I also come from a fashion design background, and I recognise how unique her perspective is.
What we’re hoping to fund:
• (Most essential) Sewing machine with additional stitches & attachments: $640–$900
• (Second most essential) Overlocker: $400–$500
• Required course sewing supplies: $200
• Iron & ironing board: $200
Any additional funds will go toward necessities like quality thread, fusing, rotary cutter and mat, and other tools she’ll use daily.
Every contribution — no matter how small — helps give her the best possible start.
If you’re able to donate, or even just share this fundraiser, it would mean the world.
Please feel free to leave encouraging messages — I can’t wait to show her the support when the surprise is revealed
Thank you so much for helping make this dream a reality for our lil sis.
