UPDATE: We reached our goal! Thanks so much to the generous spirit of our fans and donors. As mentioned in the original text below, we'll leave the fundraiser up for awhile longer as anything over the goal will go towards the recording of the debut CD in 2019.

The dynamic family rock trio have an exciting opportunity! They have been asked to play their hip-shaking music in England this fall. Papa Jefferson, 10-year-old drummer Lila and bass playing big sister Ella have been saving their pennies to exchange for pence and pounds. But to make it all the way across the pond, they are asking their fans and friends for a little help. They are on track to cover the costs themselves for train fares, instrument, amp, PA and van rental as well and other incidental travel costs. The biggest cost they are trying to offset is the airfare for the party of four.  Their generous host is offering them lodging for most of the trip, so that cost has been cut considerably. Any funds raised over the goal will be put towards recording and releasing their debut CD sometime in 2019. The plan is to depart in late September and to end the fundraiser the week before departure.

Secret Monkey Weekend are so grateful for the past and ongoing support of their friends, fans and family and are offering some incentives and rewards for this help.


$25  contributors receive a Secret Monkey Weekend DVD of live performances.

$50 contributors receive a Secret Monkey Weekend DVD of live performances and t-shirt (currently under design).

$100 contributors receive the t-shirt, CD (upon release) and live performance DVD.

$250 contributors receive all of the above and guest list privileges for one year of SMW shows.

$500 contributors receive all of the above and a two-set SWM party gig at a time that is agreeable to all concerned and within a 3-hour drive.

The band sincerely thank you for your encouragement and support and they look forward to seeing you and thanking you in person at the nearest opportunity. They plan to play at Blue Note Grill in Durham from 5-7pm on Sunday June 17 to help celebrate where they are with their progress and simply entertain their marvelous fans, family and friends.
