Over 3.5 million people, mainly children were evacuated during World War Two.

We're raising money in aid of THE BRITISH EVACUEES ASSOCIATION, a registered charity formed in 1996 to bring together and support former evacuees of The Second World War. This means so much to our members, who through our association, have connected with others who have had similar experiences to themselves.

We would love to continue our invaluable work recording their stories within the pages of our 'Evacuee' magazine, which is sent to all our members worldwide. Due to the naturally reducing number of former evacuees, we find ourselves facing closure at the end of June 2023, unless we can find more members or gain donations. Can you join us in ensuring that the wartime experiences of this unique group of British people, the last living link to the Second World War, are recorded for future generations.
