We are a  primarily student-athlete run non-profit organization that collects surplus foods that would otherwise be discarded in order to redistribute them to those in need out of food trucks.

At Second Spoon, our team prides ourselves on having the lowest carbon footprint possible, lessening waste and improving our communities day at a time. One of the factors that separate us from other groups is the fact that the food truck allows us to target the areas where we can most make an impact.

Thus far, we have rescued and distributed over 50,000 pounds of food in both Miami and Nashville. 

Donations will go directly to the purchase of more food trucks as we continue to expand nationwide. In Miami, we have partnered with local vendor such as Whole Foods while the Nashville initiative has been powered by Vanderbilt University's dining halls.
