Second Leg Surgery: We Need Your Help

Hey friends and family! I started this page because I am in need of support from you guys…

I was finishing up taking my golden doodle out potty and was walking down a set of stairs in front of my apartment when I completely missed the next step down, twisted my ankle, and crunched down on my left leg. I sent the slides I was wearing flying as well as my body down the remaining steps (lol) (ouch). I knew immediately I had broken something from the sound of the crunch. However, I managed to crawl back home as it wasn’t far from my front door, and my sweet baby boy, Mr. Squiggles, stayed by my side the entire time

We found out in a follow-up appointment the next day that I am going to need surgery on my fibula in order to get back to full health. As many of you know, this will be my second surgery on this leg in one year's time. Nearly a year and a half ago, I had to get reconstructive knee surgery on my left patella. Someone hit me with their car while I was crossing the street. I am lucky to be alive.

Anyways, all that being said: I am in need of support this time as it has been quite the emotional, physical, and financial strain on my little family, and circumstances are different this time around. We have to wait until July for surgery, unfortunately, and I will be out of work for about a week after and during surgery. I am looking for ways to stay afloat during this time.
