My name is Jay and excuse any of my typing as I have a disability but I don't know much how to do this and now taking the time to try to help my grandma. She was victim to the Altadena fires and is currently in the hospital. I spend the last 21 years of my life in and out of children hospitals that this hospital environment is bringing back so many memories for me.

My grandma lost everything in Hawaii for the Lahaina fire and moved to Altadena because it was too much to rebuild in Lahaina and my grandpa pass away in 2022 so she wanted a fresh start. She wanted to be close to the ocean still and I decided to pick up my life and live with her when she moved to Altadena . When she was in Hawaii I couldn't fly there for visits because of my disability and it felt good to spend time with her and living with her and getting a closer bond.

She didn't raise money for Lahaina fires because she felt she will be ok and other families deserve to get more help. But I am now asking for the help to help her. Please spread the word and anything can help us.
