Second Chance Request
My name is Khalid Mustafa, living in Massachusetts, on a personal journey to secure my freedom. It has been a 45-year journey of personal and professional development through working within the community, on the ground, assisting others in overcoming challenges.
I have spent all of my adult life within the penal system, with more than 30 years on parole, that started when I was 18 years old. My motto has been "Better Instead of Bitter", as I strive for the best quality of life possible.
The funds are desperately needed for legal expenses to create the "Compelling Reason" the parole board requires to secure a parole termination and to supplement the expenses for my Master Degree in Community Development Policy and Practice. I consistently explore ways to deepen my insights and expertise in contributing constructively to society.
Please consider contributing to one souls' quest for freedom after committing an immature crime as a teenager and has demonstrated remorsefulness and embraced responsibility every step of the way. My question is "when is enough enough and the punishment becomes the crime?" I desire and yearn a second chance...
