This is Mira. She’s not just a cat — she’s family. We rescued her from the streets of Italy in 2018 when she was about 6 months old, and she traveled halfway across the world to find love and a forever home with my son. Since then, she has been his fur soulmate, best friend, and constant companion through every milestone of his life.

Recently, Mira suffered significant physical injuries from a dog bite and these injuries required emergency surgery. She pulled through the first operation, but she now needs additional treatment and another surgery to survive. We have already invested more than $9,000 into her care because we are committed to saving her, but the costs have gone beyond what we can manage alone.

Our veterinarian is fully supportive of continuing her treatment, and we want to reassure you that Mira is not suffering. She is still full of love, spirit, and fight — she just needs the medical care to heal and return to the happy, healthy cat she has always been.

Mira has already survived so much — from life on the streets to finding her forever family. With your help, she can overcome this too. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward her surgery, treatment, and recovery. If you’re unable to give, we would be so grateful if you could share Mira’s story to help us reach more people.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. Together, we can give Mira the second chance she deserves.
