The Greater New York Episcopal Trans Task Force is planning our second annual Celebration of Trans Joy and Resilience for the weekend of Trans Day of Visibility, Saturday, March 29, 2025 at noon at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York.

We will have a noonday prayer service and reception celebrating the transgender community and a call to action on behalf of beloved transgender people. The Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New York, The Rt. Rev. Matthew Heyd will be presiding and our guest preacher will be Mr. Aaron Scott, Staff Officer for Gender Justice for the Episcopal Church. Music by the TRANScend Ambassadors choir. Lunch to follow. All are welcome!
