Secanje na Ljubicu Stolic

Memorial and funeral arrangements update:
Celebration of Ljubica’s life is going to be held at St. Sava Serbian church on Monday, January 24th at 7:00 PM.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 25th at St. Sava Serbian Church starting at 10:00 AM, following with  burial at St. Michaels cemetery.

Collected donations will be given to family Stolic as soon as the administrator release the funds.

Dragi prijatelji, sugradjani, braco i sestre,

 

Obracamo vam se sa tuznom vescu da je dana 19, januara nasa draga Ljubica preminula posle duge i teske bolesti u 52-oj godini.

Oni koji su imali privilegiju da poznaju Ljubicu ce je pamtiti kao vedru osobu koja je plenila svojom pozitivnom energijom i koja je nesebicno tu energiju delila sa prijateljima, porodicom i sa svojom zajednicom cije korene je pazljivo postovala i cuvala. Uvek spremna da pomogne, bila je rame za oslonac za mnoge od nas.

 

Uzorna majka, supruga, sestra, cerka i baka, Ljubica je ostavila iza sebe mnoge kojima ce faliti i koji ce secanje na nju cuvati dugi niz godina.

Vreme u kome zivimo je postalo tesko za sve, nedostatak socijalnog kontakta je uskratio mogucnost da Ljubica ode u vecnost u prisustvu svih koji su zeleli da budu uz nju u najtezim momentima i da se oproste sa njom.

 

Porodica Stolic je uvek stoicki i sa ponosom nosila zivotne nedace. U situaciji kada moraju da se naviknu na zivot bez Ljubice, iako pomoc nisu trazili, zelimo da znaju da smo mi ovde za njih.

 

Ovim putem zelimo da zamolimo sve ljude dobre volje koji su u mogucnosti da svojim dobrovoljnim prilozima pomognu porodici Stolic.

 

Ako imate mogucnosti i zelje da pomognete,

In memory of Ljubica Stolic

Dear friends, brothers and sisters,

We inform you with a heavy heart that our dear Ljubica passed away on January 19th after a long and debilitating illness.

Those who had the privilege of being around Ljubica know that she was someone you couldn’t not notice. Her positive, infectious energy was shared with her friends, family and her community. Always there for others, she was a shoulder to lean on. 

Ljubica was a very simple, but sophisticated person; being a mother, wife, sister, daughter, mother in law, grandmother and a friend she juggled all these roles with ease. That does not mean that life was easy for her, but she dealt  with all these challenges with grace and positive thoughts. She left many souls that will deeply miss her. 

We live in difficult time, the lack of social contact made many of us unable to see Ljubica, give her support through genuine human touch that is so important for us and to say our goodbyes. We know that she knew that many of us were thinking and praying for her and she will continue to live with us by cherishing the time we shared. She left this world leaving all of us better because we knew her. 

The Stolic family has always lended a helping hand when needed, be it a friend, family, community, or a society in whole. They are proud people with lots of integrity, they never asked for help, but we recognize that at the times like this, it is our time to show our support. Not because they can’t manage it, but because we, their friends and community want to wrap them in the blanket of our support. Like they did many times for others.
