Hey! Some of you may know I'm having top surgery soon. This is something that I've thought a great deal about, and I know will help me feel more at home in my body and I'm excited to finally experience this.

Unfortunately, the NHS has pretty poor provision for trans healthcare. I am not likely to be seen by an NHS clinic until 2029, and then there would be further waiting times following my first appointment. I'm (nearly) 33 and can't wait any longer to feel more like myself, so have sought private healthcare.

I have saved and taken out another credit card to pay for most of the surgery, but even still am still slightly short on the full amount. I would appreciate any support from those that are able to help me cross the finish line by the end of August. (P.s. it's nearly my birthday).

I'm in a stable work and housing situation with a support network to fall back on, which is not the case for many of my trans+ siblings. I therefore will use this fundraiser as a pay-it-forward system, so once I have paid for my surgery I will continue to save to give £100 a month to other fundraisers until it is all paid forwards.
